This page explains, as plainly as possible, what a session with Norbert is offered as and what it is not. It is here so that you know exactly what you are booking before you decide.
Receive Reiki is operated by Norbert Seres, a Florida sole proprietor. Norbert is the practitioner and the person who provides every session booked through this website.
1. What Reiki is offered as here
A session is a spiritual-wellness experience, intended to support relaxation and reflection. It is an opportunity to pause and receive — any whole number of consecutive hours from one to eight, set aside for you, at a time you chose.
Remote Reiki is also called distance Reiki, distant Reiki, online Reiki, or virtual Reiki. Those names all describe the same thing offered here: a Reiki session received without being in the same room as the practitioner.
Receive Reiki is a spiritual-wellness service. It does not replace qualified medical or mental-health care.
2. What a session is not
This is the part that matters most, so it is stated directly rather than buried.
- A session is not medical care.
- A session is not psychological or psychiatric care, and not counseling.
- A session is not a diagnosis. Norbert does not diagnose anything, and does not assess, examine, or evaluate your health.
- A session is not a treatment for any illness, condition, symptom, or emotion.
- A session is not a substitute for any of the above, and is not a reason to delay or decline them.
Nothing on this website, in a confirmation email, or in a session is medical or psychological advice, and nothing here should be read as an alternative to speaking with a qualified professional.
3. Who Norbert is, and who he is not
Norbert Seres is a Reiki Master Teacher. He trained through a five-level Reiki system and has practiced Reiki daily for more than 23 years, working with people in multiple countries. That is the whole of his standing here, and it is offered honestly.
He is not a doctor, physician, nurse, therapist, psychotherapist, counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, massage therapist, dietitian, or licensed healthcare provider of any kind. He holds no clinical license and claims no professional health qualification.
This page covers sessions received by a person. A human session is booked by the adult who will receive Reiki, and is available to adults aged 18 and over. Sessions for animals are a separate service with their own scope, set out in the Animal Wellness Disclaimer.
Norbert speaks English and Hungarian; the website and automated booking emails are currently provided in English.
4. What is never claimed
Sessions are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any illness or condition. No physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, or financial outcome is guaranteed, and none is promised or implied.
You will not find a claim on this website that a session will change a symptom, a mood, a night's sleep, a relationship, a decision, or a circumstance — because no such claim can honestly be made. What is being sold is the time and the session itself, described exactly as it is.
5. What people report
Some people report warmth, tingling, emotion, sleepiness, or other subjective experiences. Some notice a settling of the breath. Some notice colors or images. Some notice nothing in particular at all.
These are descriptions of what individuals have said they noticed. They are not effects being claimed, and they are not what you should expect. Experiences vary. No particular experience is required, and noticing nothing is an entirely ordinary outcome — it does not mean anything went wrong, and it does not mean the session did not take place.
6. Please keep your existing care in place
If you are under the care of a doctor, a mental-health professional, or any other qualified practitioner, please continue exactly as they have advised.
- Keep taking any medication that has been prescribed for you, as prescribed.
- Keep your appointments.
- Take any concern about your health, your mind, or your medication to the professional responsible for your care.
Booking a session is not a reason to stop, reduce, change, postpone, or avoid anything a qualified professional has advised. If you are ever unsure, speak to them first. Nothing offered here should ever delay or replace care.
7. In an emergency
If you are in danger, in crisis, or need urgent help, contact your local emergency services immediately — in the United States, by calling 911. If you are in emotional distress or worried about your own safety, you can call or text 988 in the United States to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
This is not a crisis service. Bookings, emails, and messages sent through this website are not monitored in real time, and booking a session is not a way to obtain urgent help.
8. Adults 18 and over
Sessions are for adults aged 18 and over. By booking, you confirm that you are 18 or older. Human sessions are available to adults aged 18 and over and must be booked by the adult who will receive Reiki. Animal bookings are governed by the separate Animal Wellness Disclaimer.
9. Norbert does not give advice
Norbert cannot and does not give medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. He will not comment on a diagnosis you have been given or on a course of treatment you are following, will not tell you whether to start or stop a medication, and will not offer an opinion on what a professional has advised you to do. Questions of that kind belong with the qualified people responsible for your care, and he will say so.
