The session
How an animal session works
During the reserved time, Norbert sends Reiki to the animal identified in your booking. The animal may remain in its familiar environment, and no particular behavior is required. It may rest, sleep, eat, move around, or continue its usual routine.
Each animal responds in its own way. Some owners notice their animal settling, resting more deeply, or choosing a different place during or after the session. There is no particular behavior your animal needs to show. It can simply continue its normal routine.
Where the animal will be
The location for the session
Enter the location where the animal will be during the session. This may be a home, barn, stable, ranch, pasture, or another property in the United States.
It does not have to be your own address. Many horses are kept at a barn, stable or ranch belonging to someone else, and that is the location to give: where the animal will actually be at the reserved time.
The location is private booking information. It is visible only to Norbert, it is never published, and it is never placed in a calendar file or an email. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly how it is handled.
Which animals
Dogs, cats, horses, and other animals
Dogs
Dogs may receive Reiki while resting, sleeping, moving around the home, or remaining near the people and animals they know. Owners may book with a general intention concerning calm, adjustment, comfort, energy, or overall well-being.
Cats
Cats may receive Reiki without being held or confined. They may sleep, move to another room, return, or continue their normal routine. The session does not require the cat to remain still.
Horses
Horses can remain in their usual setting during the session. See remote Reiki for horses for details about barns, stables, ranches, and pastures.
Other animals may also receive remote Reiki when the owner or authorized caretaker can provide the animal’s name, a short identifying description, and the location where the animal will be during the session.
