Straight answers about remote Reiki sessions with Norbert Seres: what actually happens, what it costs, how timing and time zones work, and what happens if you need to change or cancel.

About remote Reiki
What is remote Reiki?
Remote Reiki is a Reiki session received while you and the practitioner are in different places. You reserve a time, Norbert sends Reiki throughout that period, and you receive the session wherever you are.
Is distance Reiki the same as distant Reiki, online Reiki, or virtual Reiki?
Yes. Remote Reiki, distance Reiki, distant Reiki, online Reiki, and virtual Reiki are often used for the same type of session. Here, no phone or video call is involved; Norbert sends Reiki during the time you reserve.
How does a session work if Norbert and I are not in the same place?
Reiki is not limited by distance. At the time you booked, Norbert channels and sends Reiki to you for the whole of the reserved period, wherever you are.
There is no call, no video and no app. Nothing is asked of you at the scheduled time.
Do I need a particular belief, and is Reiki religious?
No particular religion or belief is required, and Reiki is not religious. Norbert's work is spiritual, but it is not connected to a church, a denomination, or a religious requirement.
You are not asked to pray, to convert, to adopt a belief system, or to take part in any ritual. Receiving Reiki should be your own free-will choice, and if you hold a faith of your own, a session is not intended to sit in tension with it.

Your session
Do I need to be on a phone or video call?
No. Your session begins at the scheduled time and is received remotely wherever you are. You do not need to stay online during the session.
What do I do during the session?
Nothing is required of you. Rest, sleep, work, or continue a quiet activity.
If you would like to settle in for it, sit or lie down somewhere comfortable and let your arms and legs stay uncrossed. That may help you notice more, and it does not change whether Reiki reaches you.
Can I sleep during my session, be at work, or be driving?
Sleeping is fine, and many people do. Working is fine. Traveling as a passenger is fine.
Do not drive or operate machinery during your reserved time. Nothing about a session requires your attention, but deep relaxation and driving do not belong together.
Do I need to be lying down somewhere quiet?
No. Reiki is sent to you throughout the scheduled session wherever you are, and quiet is not required for it to reach you. You may receive while resting, sleeping, traveling as a passenger, or quietly continuing your day.
A calm setting is suggested only because fewer distractions may make warmth, tingling, inner impressions, spiritual messages, Reiki angels, and other aspects of the experience easier to notice.
What might I feel, see, hear, or become aware of?
Each person experiences Reiki in their own way. You may notice warmth, coolness, tingling, movement, emotion, stillness, inner images, words, impressions, or simply a quieter state.
Sensitivity can develop with experience, so some people become more familiar with noticing subtle sensations and impressions session by session.
What happens after my session?
You receive a completion confirmation by email, and there is nothing further you need to do.
Some people drink water, rest, or write down anything they noticed. Others go straight back to their day. You are welcome to book again whenever you would like to.

Booking, timing and time zones
How long is a session, and what do the lengths cost?
You can book any whole number of hours from one to eight. The rate is $89 per hour at every length: $89, $178, $267, $356, $445, $534, $623, and $712. A first one-hour session is $67. The regular one-hour rate is $89, and longer sessions use the regular rates shown above.
There is no package, subscription, or membership, and every session longer than an hour is held across consecutive hours.
Why might I choose a longer session?
Choose the amount of receiving time that feels right for you.
A one-hour session gives you a complete scheduled period of Reiki. Longer sessions allow a more extended and uninterrupted period of receiving. In Norbert's practice, more time allows Reiki to continue flowing for longer and may support a deeper, more sustained experience.
Every duration uses the same $89 hourly rate.
How far ahead can I book, and how soon before a session can I book?
You can book up to 90 days ahead, and up to 2 hours before a session starts.
Times are available every day from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM US Central Time, and the booking page shows them in your own time zone. The two-hour minimum notice gives your booking time to be prepared.
What time zone are the times shown in, and can I change it?
Every available time is shown in your local time zone. You can change it if your device detects the time zone incorrectly.
You can correct it on the booking page before you pick a time. Availability itself is every day from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM US Central Time, and the conversion into your time zone is done for you, so you never have to work it out yourself.
Can I book a Reiki session for another adult?
Human sessions should be booked by the adult who will receive Reiki. This keeps the person’s intention and free-will choice clear. You may book for an animal in your care through the animal Reiki booking option.
Can I book from outside the United States?
Online booking is currently available only to customers in the United States. International booking is not available at this time.
Section four
Payment, changes and cancellations
How do I pay, and is my payment secure?
You pay by card at the time of booking, and payment is handled by Stripe.
Card details are entered on Stripe's own secure payment form. They are not stored on this site, and Norbert never sees them. Sessions are prepaid, and a booking is confirmed only once payment succeeds.
What happens if my payment fails?
If payment does not succeed, no booking is created and the time is not reserved. You may try again or choose another time.
If you see a duplicate charge, or payment succeeds but a technical problem prevents the booking from being fulfilled, contact support. A confirmed duplicate or unfulfilled payment is corrected with a full refund, and Receive Reiki absorbs the processing cost.
Can I cancel or reschedule my session?
Yes, from the private link in your confirmation email. Cancel 24 hours or more before the start and you are eligible for a refund of what you paid, minus the actual nonrecoverable payment-processing cost for that transaction. The amount paid, that cost and the refund are shown before you confirm, and confirming sends that refund to your payment provider. If the exact fee cannot be established it is reviewed by hand rather than estimated.
Inside 24 hours there is no cash refund, but you may move the session once, free of charge. Using that one change permanently ends cash-refund eligibility for the booking. Four hours before the start, online cancellation and rescheduling close. At or after the start time there is no refund and no automatic reschedule.
If Norbert cancels, you choose between a full refund of everything you paid, including any tip, or a free reschedule. The cancellation policy sets out every case.
Can I add a tip, and do I have to?
A tip is optional, and No tip is selected by default. Adding or declining one does not change your session.
If you add a tip, it is part of the same payment and included in refund calculations. The processing cost is calculated once on the total amount.
Is my private note kept private?
Yes. The note is optional, it is read only by Norbert, and it is not published anywhere.
You can leave it blank, and leaving it blank changes nothing about your session. If you do write something, please leave out anything you would not want held in an email inbox. The privacy policy explains what is stored and for how long.

About Norbert
Who is Norbert Seres?
Norbert Seres is a Reiki Master Teacher who has worked with Reiki for more than 23 years. He completed Reiki Teacher training in 2004 and continued to Reiki Grandmaster training in 2005. He personally carries out every session, speaks English and Hungarian, and has worked with people in multiple countries.

Is this medical care, and can it replace my doctor or therapist?
Receive Reiki is a spiritual-wellness service, not medical or psychological care. The Wellness Disclaimer explains the full scope of the service.
How old do I need to be to book?
You must be 18 or over to make a booking. Human sessions must be booked by the adult who will receive Reiki. Animal sessions may be booked by an adult owner or authorized caretaker.

Reiki for animals
Can I book Reiki for an animal?
Yes. An adult owner or authorized caretaker may book remote Reiki for a dog, cat, horse, or another animal in their care.
What information do I provide for an animal session?
You provide the animal’s name, animal type, breed or identifying description, and the location where the animal will be during the scheduled session. Age and a general Reiki intention may also be included.
What location should I enter for a horse?
Enter the location where your horse will be during the session, such as the address of a barn, stable, ranch, pasture property, or other location.
What does the animal need to do during the session?
The animal may remain in its familiar environment and continue its normal routine. It may rest, sleep, eat, or move around.
Can I book remote Reiki for a horse?
Yes. Remote horse Reiki is available across the United States. Horses may remain at home, in a barn, stable, pasture, or ranch during the session.
Does animal Reiki replace veterinary care?
No. Animal Reiki is a spiritual-wellness service and does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace care from a licensed veterinarian.
